how i am using substack's 'thread' feature
I am excited to see that Substack is rolling out a new feature on this platform—“Threads”
This is a conversation space housed in the Substack app that I’ve set up for those of you who subscribe to This Common Life. It functions as a group chat or live hangout. I’ll post short prompts, thoughts, and updates that come my way, and you can jump into the discussion.
I think this feature is fitting for a digital space that aims to recognize our shared, common life together and advance the good and flourishing of all people. I hope you will join in the conversation as we continue to build a digital community through this project.

How to get started
To join our chat, you’ll need to download the Substack app (messages are sent via the app, not email). Turn on push notifications so you don’t miss a chance to join the conversation as it happens.
Download the app by clicking this link or the button below. Chat is only on iOS for now, but chat is coming to the Android app soon.
Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.
