I have been truly surprised by the generous response to this experiment of a newsletter. I did not expect to find so much joy in taking time each week to summarize my thoughts and share them with you all. Your feedback, both constructive and critical, has provided ample food for thought.
Given this, I will be expanding the content of this newsletter over the course of the summer—bringing in guest writers, publishing interviews, sharing book reviews, and more.

A few months ago, Nate Stucky reminded me that “delight” is a word we need to use more. Following his lead, I’ve spent intentional time (Nate would probably call this “sabbath”) seeking to delight in God’s wonderful and redemptive action in the world. This project and your response to it have undoubtedly served as a wellspring of this. I hope this newsletter has offered you all opportunities to delight as well.
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
